Tomatoes get double price, from Malappuram when arriving in Ernakulam

God's own country, where the rice and vegetables are coming from other states. No one has any objection to protest against the price of vegetables at the festival seasons.

After Onam holiday, I returned to Ernakulam on 6/9/2017 and bought vegetables for the
evening and tomatoes at Rs 60 a kg.

How is the difference in vegetable that comes from Tamil Nadu?
Who controls the price here?
Is this price difference with the knowledge of the authorities?

Each of us will start farming at home in order to control prices of booming vegetables.
This is not for sale, but to save our health and preserve health.
